Patsy is a descendant of Ngati Porou Iwi on the East Cape of Tairāwhiti and a descendant of Ngati Whatua /Nga Puhi Iwi on the West Coast of Tai Tokerau. She has lived in the South Island all her life and has also travelled overseas to Israel, Rome, Europe and Australia. I am passionate about the New Zealand film industry and my biggest achievement to date is I am producing a short film project called “Kōkako”. This is the first in the Nelson/Tasman to be selected by the New Zealand Film Commission for Fresh Shorts funding. I continue to expand my repertoire, including writing a feature length screenplay and working with the New Zealand Film Commission.
